Tang Rubei, nicknamed Ghost Hand, was the number one thief in the galaxy. He was proficient in all sorts of ancient and high-tech ways of stealing, and he had never failed in his sixty years of life.
This time, he got a big deal. Someone offered him a sky-high price to steal Han Sen's son, Littleflower. That was why he came to Planet Roca. He had been scouting the area for a long time and seized this golden opportunity to steal Han Sen's son, Littleflower. When everyone in the old house was gone, there were only the two children left.
"People these days don't have any sense of safety. They think they can just leave it to the AI and the robots. Those things aren't reliable. I'm a super thief. I can even take care of a small thief," Tang Rubei mumbled to himself as he walked towards Littleflower.
"Do you like ice cream, little friend?"
Tang Rubei saw Bao'er looking at him, and he smiled. He brought out a sapphire ice cream and gave it to Bao'er.
Tang Rubei knew Bao'er was not a human. She was Han Sen's pet beast soul, but she could not fight. She loved sapphire ice cream, though, so Tang Rubei was prepared.
"Uncle, you are a good man." Bao'er's eyes shone as she took the ice cream.
Tang Rubei thought to himself, "Stealing is a skill. What is skill?
This is skill. In the whole Alliance, no, in the whole universe, if I said I was second, no one would say they were first. "
While Bao'er was eating the ice cream, Tang Rubei bent down and picked him up gently. He said, "Little baby, I'll take you somewhere fun."
But before Tang Rubei could touch her, he felt something tug at his clothes. Tang Rubei looked as if he had been struck by lightning, and he quickly turned around.
Tang Rubei was proud of his perceptive abilities, but he hadn't sensed anyone approaching him. And yet, someone had tugged at his shirt. How could he not be surprised?
He had been a thief for so many years, but he had never been caught. If he was caught this time, his reputation would be completely ruined.
But when Tang Rubei turned around, there was no one there. It was only Bao 'er, who was tugging at his shirt and looking at him with her big eyes.
"I knew they wouldn't be back so soon."
Tang Rubei let out a long sigh of relief. His heart, which had almost jumped out of his throat, finally calmed down.
"Go eat your ice cream, little friend," Tang Rubei smiled at Bao'er and went to pick up Littleflower.
But Bao'er tugged at his shirt again, and Tang Rubei had to turn around and look at her. Bao'er looked at him innocently and said, "Uncle, I finished my ice cream. I want more."
Tang Rubei felt a headache coming on. He thought Bao'er was a pet beast soul. If a pet beast soul was not present, the owner would not know what it was doing. But if the pet beast soul was attacked, the owner would know.
So, Tang Rubei did not want to attack Bao'er. He didn't want Han Sen to notice.
Bao'er was not Han Sen's beast soul. Even if he attacked Bao'er, Han Sen would not notice.
"That saying is right. The richer a person is, the stingier they are. She is such a cute humanoid pet. If I were to raise her, she would eat whatever she wanted. Han Sen's family must not be willing to give her good food. That is why she is so greedy."
Tang Rubei thought to herself. She then opened the small box hanging on her waist. It was a special refrigerator. Inside it were two ice creams made with sapphires.
Tang Rubei always liked to be prepared. She even brought three ice creams with her. Now was the time to put them to good use. She took out two of them and gave one to Bao 'er. "Go eat somewhere else."
Before Tang Rubei could turn around, Bao'er ate the two ice creams. She looked at Tang Rubei and said, "Uncle, I want more."
"F * ck, aren't you worried you'll get sick from eating ice cream like that?" Tang Rubei was annoyed. He had only prepared three ice creams.
"I don't have any more ice creams. I'll take you to buy some." Tang Rubei went to pick up Littleflower.
"Uncle, can you take me to buy it now?" Bao 'er tugged on Tang Rubei's sleeve.
Tang Rubei wanted to ignore Bao 'er. He wanted to pick up Littleflower and run, but he couldn't reach him. His body couldn't move.
He turned around and was shocked. Bao'er was grabbing onto his shirt. She was so strong that he couldn't get rid of her.
"She's so strong. Is she a high-level pet beast soul that can fight?
Why is it different from what the information says? "
Tang Rubei was shocked, but he was an experienced thief. He smiled and said to Bao'er, "Okay, I'll take you to buy some ice creams. We'll take Littleflower with us. You can eat as much as you want."
"Okay, Uncle, you're a good person," Bao'er said happily.
"Okay, let's go now. Don't be late, and the store will be closed." Tang Rubei wanted to pick up Littleflower, but Bao'er stopped him.
"Bao'er can't go, Uncle. I can't go," Bao'er said sadly.
"Why can't you go?
Don't you want ice cream? "Tang Rubei's heart jumped.
"Yes, but if I don't finish my homework, Mom and Dad will scold me. I can't eat ice cream until I finish my homework," Bao'er said, pointing at her workbook.
Han Sen wanted Bao'er to learn about the Alliance whenever he had time. Bao'er could live in the Alliance, as the sanctuaries were not suitable for a pretty girl like her.
"That's disgusting. Parents nowadays don't just let their children off the hook. Even their pets have to do homework. I'll do it for you," said Tang Rubei.
Tang Rubei said angrily. He thought to himself, "If I wait for you to finish your homework, maybe Ji Yanran will come back."
"Uncle, you're a good person," Bao'er said, looking touched.
"Of course. I'm a good person."
Tang Rubei picked up his workbook and pen. "There are sixty-seven animals in the farm, and there are twice as many ducks as chickens."
Tang Rubei wasn't in the mood to do the math, so he just wrote down an answer. He wanted to leave as soon as possible.
"Uncle, you're wrong. You should do it like this," Bao'er said, pointing at Tang Rubei's answer.
"I'm just testing you," Tang Rubei said, feeling depressed. He had to do it again.
"What's going on? I'm the number one thief in the galaxy. Why would I go to someone's house to do math for a child?" Tang Ru continued to do the math with a bitter face.
